What does Bibelaz stand for?
Bibelaz is so much more than just a name! It is a combination of three words that perfectly capture the essence of my brand. Bibelaz comes from the French word 'bibelots' for "things," the Bahasa word 'az' for "sun" and the Latin word 'libertas' for "freedom." These three words form the basis of my shop: creating an experience that inspires you to shine and embrace your freedom.
Many of the items you find at Bibelaz are made with care and love under the sun in countries such as Morocco and Indonesia. These sun rays and the craft traditions of these countries give the products an energy that radiates exactly what I have in mind: warmth, freedom and personality.
Bibelaz is not just about beautiful things, but about the experience you have when you hold your new purchase in your hands. It is that inspiration that makes life so special. For me, freedom is being able to express my cheerful and impulsive character, and creating a space where I can combine everything I find beautiful. Hi! I'm Wendy, the proud owner of Bibelaz.
What started with selling handmade jewelry has grown into a webshop full of unique items such as amber cubes, Balinese wood carvings, dream catchers and beautiful interior accessories.
At Bibelaz you will find items that I like and would like to share with you. Craftsmanship, sustainability and fair prices are central to this. I believe in the importance of mental freedom and embracing life in all its colours and shapes. As a busy, cheerful, impulsive and talkative free bird, I see Bibelaz as my way to share that freedom and creativity, and I hope that the products will enchant you as much as they enchanted me when I found them during my journeys of discovery.
